When you commission an artwork from one of our artists, you are commissioning an artwork from an artist of high repute.  Our artists do not make their living out of commissions or copying photographs but out of their own original works of art.  When they are able to include selected commissions in their busy schedules, they produce true works of art of lasting beauty for their clients.

What could be more satisfying than to have an exciting original work of art in your home or place of business, a work of art produced by a gifted artist that is both spectacular and unique to you?

This page contains some general information about commissions for those of our artists who are able to accept them occasionally, with links to the artists' own commission pages for more details.  If you have a proposal that you would like to put to one of our artists for a commissioned artwork, please contact us with as many details as possible of your requirement and we will discuss it with the artist concerned and get back to you.

Because our artists have to include commissions in their normal work schedules, a reasonably accurate lead time can only be determined at the time of negotiating an individual commission.

Please note that, where an artist is commissioned to produce an artwork based on an existing image, such as a photograph or drawing, the image to be worked from must be warranted by the client to be free of all copyright restrictions.  Neither Loviisa Fine Arts nor its artists will engage in activities that constitute breaches of copyright.
