Accuracy of information

Loviisa Fine Arts endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the contents of this website.  However, no liability can be accepted for any errors or omissions in the information provided herein including, but not limited to, descriptions, sizes, prices and availability details of the artworks featured.

We work with artists from around the world and supply a range of artworks that are intrinsically limited in quantity.  The situation with regard to a given artwork may change without our becoming immediately aware of that change.  Additionally, changes in pricing may result from fluctuations in exchange rates, shipping charges, taxes or other costs.

We recommend that, when ordering, you confirm all necessary details with us at the time of your order.

Image size specifications

All image sizes specified on this website should be regarded as approximate.  Sizes are shown in inches or centimetres as specified by the artist.  Where the approximate alternative measurement is also shown, it appears in parentheses.  For example:  Image Size 10" x 15" (25.4cm x 37.9cm).

Validity of prices

We make every effort to maintain up to date pricing information on this website.  However, owing to the varied elements that make up quoted prices, changes inevitably occur from time to time and these may not always be immediately reflected on this website.  All prices quoted on this website are subject to change without notice.  Actual current prices will be confirmed at the time of your order.

UK import costs

All applicable UK import duties, taxes and other fees are paid by us when prints and other artworks being supplied by us enter the UK and into our possession.  The price that you pay to us includes these costs and also the artist's shipping and insurance costs associated with supplying the item.

Please note that artworks may appear on the artist's own website for lower prices than ours, but the artist's own prices will normally exclude some or all of the costs associated with bringing their artworks into the UK.

Savings on multiple purchases

If you include two or more prints by the same artist in the same order, we can sometimes offer you a saving on the total price of those prints if the order assists us with the optimisation of shipping costs.

Please note that we cannot normally offer savings in shipping costs in respect of multiple purchases of sculptures, dioramas or original drawings or paintings as they are usually packed and shipped individually.

Payment methods

You may pay by cheque, postal order or banker's draft in pounds sterling (£).  Remittances should be made payable to Loviisa Fine Arts.  Payments should be sent to:

Loviisa Fine Arts
35 Gilmore Close
Slough
SL3 7BD
England

All orders are subject to product availability and the prices prevailing at the time of the order.

UK packing and carriage charges

Packing and carriage charges within the UK depend on the sizes, weights and quantities of items ordered and their destination within the UK.  We will confirm actual charges at the time of your order.

Delivery

We aim to deliver all goods as soon as possible.  Where items are in stock, they are normally despatched within 2 working days of receipt of your order and payment.  Where we need to order items from our artists or other publishers, delivery will inevitably take a little longer.  We will confirm the anticipated delivery date at the time of your order and keep you informed should any delay become apparent.

In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, please e-mail us or telephone or fax us on (01753) 694040 so that we may investigate the problem promptly.  Please retain all the original packing materials.

It is the responsibility of the customer physically to check the contents of a delivery before signing for it.  Once goods are signed for or marked “unchecked”, no claim can be made by us for damage or shortages and we cannot replace the item or credit the customer.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Refunds

If you are not delighted with your purchase, you can return it to us within 10 days of receipt, at your own cost and risk, and we will gladly refund the purchase price.  However, before doing so, please e-mail us or telephone or fax us on (01753) 694040 for a returns authorisation number.  All goods returned for refund must be received back in saleable condition.

Please note that any UK inland packing and carriage costs included in the price originally paid by you in respect of returned goods, together with equivalent costs paid by you when returning the goods to us, are not refundable except where we have sent the wrong item or the item was received by you in a damaged condition.

It is the responsibility of the customer physically to check the contents of a delivery before signing for it.  Once goods are signed for or marked “unchecked”, no claim can be made by us for damage or shortages and we cannot replace the item or credit the customer.

Commissions

Some of our artists are able to accept commissions from time to time.  If you have a proposal for commissioning an artwork that you would like to put to one of our artists, please contact us with as many details as possible of your requirement and we will discuss it with the artist concerned.  Further general information may be found on the Commissions page with detailed information appearing in the artists' own showcases.

Please note that, where an artist is commissioned to produce an artwork based on an existing image, such as a photograph or drawing, the image to be worked from must be warranted by the client to be free of all copyright restrictions.  Neither Loviisa Fine Arts nor its artists will engage in activities that constitute breaches of copyright.

Complaints

If you wish to contact us with a complaint about our products or our service, please e-mail us or telephone or fax us on (01753) 694040 giving full details of your complaint.
